somewhere
after
midnight

a young, slowly evolving, archive of music, images and creative responses gathered after dark.

each month somewhere after midnight collects songs that feel intimate, strange, beautiful or emotionally resonant - drawing from folk, ambient, experimental, electronic, shoegaze and acoustic traditions.

alongside the music, we share photography, found textures, graphic fragments and visual experiments inspired by the tracks we discover.

current listening

the archive remains open.

we are looking for visual responses to music - photography, drawing, painting, collage, film stills, poetry, handwritten fragments, animation or other creative work made in conversation with a song, album or sound.

responses may connect to music already featured in the archive, or introduce something new alongside the work.

featured submissions should be human-made, clearly credited and created in genuine conversation with music.

as the archive grows, it may expand into deeper collaborations, printed work, sleepless machines, recordings and small live gatherings. for now, we are listening, collecting and building.

for the songs that find you when the room goes quiet.

artists retain full ownership of submitted work. contributions remain credited to their creators and may be removed upon request.
